Can I Incubate in this Unit?

No. This unit does not include automatic turners and is only meant to be used for the last few days of hatching. Designed to allow for the best hatching conditions. Hatchers usually operate at slightly different temperature and humidity settings to obtain optimum hatch. The Hatcher will hold the complete setting of the Professional incubator. For expanding operations the Hatcher can be matched with up to three Professional incubators. Can also be used with the Sportsman or Professional incubator.

My incubator was damaged in shipment. What do I do?

This is a large item and it is prone to get damaged in shipment. Unfortunately, there is nothing to do to prevent this as shippers are rough on packages. There is contact information in the package for customer support.

Is there a Limited Warranty?

GQF Manufacturing Co., Inc. guarantees against defect for a period of 1 year from date of purchase. Product older than 3 years when sold new is not covered by warranty.  Notify GQF Mfg. Co. of any defective items, giving catalogue number and name of item and what is wrong with item.  Send copy of invoice showing date of purchase.  GQF Mfg. Co. will send replacement, or replacement parts, or notify regarding return.  Shipping charges for express shipping are to be paid by the customer.  GQF’s warranty applies to residents of the USA only. International warranty claims are handled by the authorized GQF dealer that sold the equipment in that area.  Returning of items without written permission will be at owner’s expense.

The 1550 HATCHER incubator is designed to allow for the best hatching conditions. Unlike setting incubators, hatchers usually operate at slightly different temperature and humidity settings to obtain optimum hatch. With five hatching drawers the 1550 Hatcher will hold the complete setting of the 1500 incubator. For expanding operations 1550 can be matched with up to three 1500 incubators. 1550 can be used to set eggs, but each egg will have to be turned by hand. For small chicks such as quail, each hatching tray comes with a tray cover except for the bottom drawer. The No. 1550 HATCHER incubator offers an accurate digital thermostat with an LCD display of Temperature and Humidity. An on-board computer monitors systems and the environment every second to keep itself updated and to share this data with you. Audio/visual indicators and a standard easy view door highlight a number of standard features. Constructed from high strength plastic board making it well insulated, quieter, and easier to clean. Each unit is hand-assembled by our skilled craftsmen and tested for a full 24 hours for proper operation and calibration.
